2 MANUAL ZIMMER RESIDENCE PIPE ORGAN

CHESTERFIELD, VA.

This 2 manual, 4 rank Zimmer pipe organ is located in a residence in Chesterfield, VIrginia. It is Opus 175, built by W. Zimmer and Sons of Charlotte, North Carolina in 1976. The organ was originally commissioned by the Scarritt Bennett Center in Nashville, TN back when it was a religious college. It was one of two practice organs they used in the gothic Wightman Chapel Cathedral which also houses a very impressive permanent pipe organ.
